  • I was introduced to BEK Networks shortly after accepting the role as CIO for MidSouth Bank. The Bank was in midst of a large telecom provided network-based firewall and internet solution renewal when I arrived. While the renewal was fairly standard practice, what was not standard was MidSouth’s decision to start an aggressive migration to cloud services and to transform our MPLS to SD-WAN. As a new CIO, I was really appalled by the incumbent providers who were clearly just interested in locking down the existing renewal and not adapting to our new approach.
